You Deserve To Feel Good

Does anyone else get that deep desire to want to just be left alone??

Now don’t get me wrong I love my husband and kids deeply, but life in our house is often busy and hectic. During the winter season (I live in a mountain ski resort), it can feel like we are none stop for most of it.

I’m what would be considered an outgoing introvert. I love people, I love socialising but my natural introvert tendencies mean that I deeply crave alone time.

In all honesty, when having kids the nature of parenting means that they are with you a lot, alone time can feel something like a mythical beast.

I love being a mum and wouldn’t change it for the world, but that doesn't mean I don’t have my own needs.

Parents Have Needs Too

Taking care of your own needs is essentially what we now get to call self-care.

Self-care can come in many different forms, and it can be different for each individual person.

Essentially it’s in asking yourself what YOU need to feel good.

How often do ask yourself, what it is that you need?

I feel that many women put themselves at the back of the queue when considering the needs of the household.
