Tony has said that this year we can expect to see writers getting paid for bringing people to the platrom. So this may change in the future so don't get too discouraged.

I have one article on here that is doing well in search and gets a fair bit of traffic. So I asked myself how I could make that count?

I want people to discover my work and then follow me in other places. So I worked on optimising that article to help my other channels grow. I added a video as I am working on growing my Youtube. I also added links to my own website and my social channels too. If you are getting eyes on that article they may be interested in what else you may be doing.

So consider what you want outside of medium earnings and add it to the article.
