This is a really interesting conversation and I don't think there is any black or white.

For example when I started writing on Medium and earned my first few cent, it gave me the idea that earning money for writing was possible. I also needed to be a little delusional as if I wasn't I would have quit after those first few months. It was over 18 months before I got any real traction. Without a little bit of dreaming I may have missed out on a side hustle that I now really love.

But yes in other instances it was the regith decision to quit. It's very much about heightening self awareness.
