It took a while for me to work towards more SEO articles but I feel like I am finding my rhythm with it now. I just like to have my eggs in many baskets.

I also like that with the SEO route people are finding my site on autopilot without having to do much else once it's published. That feels like a good move towards more passive income as they will keep generating for hopefully years to come.
