I have seen many people go through this and then bounce back just as hard.

I think it can be beneficial to people who are already fairly consistent with fitness and nutrition to help them level things up. But I'd never steer a beginner towards this challenge.

It's been interesting to see the idea of a 30 day soft challenge. This encompases some of the factors, but in a more gentle manner.
