I have an article that is currently doing ok on google search and is at the top of the ranking. I re-published the same article on my personal blog, which is currently ranking on page 2.

Both bring in views to my own website, and also my Youtube channel too. For me it's worth doing both Medium and my own personal blog. my blog will grow over time and I just want to edge my bets rather than putting all of my eggs into one basket.
