A really interesting insight. I am always amazed by people who can speak multiple languages as I find languages really hard myself.

I am from the UK but have been living in France for the last 4 years. My French is still terrible but that is because we are surrounded by a big english community, plus I work online with english speakers. I do want to commit more time and practice to it though. My children are now bilingual and they impress me every day.
